TIMELINE

February 2025 - March 2025

OVERVIEW

A self-initiated redesign of Letterboxd focused on improving content discoverability, visual hierarchy, and overall usability. This exploration rethinks how film information, lists, and social features are structured to better support how users browse, track, and engage with movies.

I analyzed existing pain points in navigation and information density, then iterated on layout, structure, and visual design to create a more intuitive and engaging browsing experience.

GOALS

  • Improve discoverability of films, lists, and reviews

  • Create clearer visual hierarchy across dense, content-heavy screens

  • Streamline navigation and reduce friction in browsing flows

  • Elevate the visual system with more cohesive typography, color, and spacing
